According to Arkham's monitoring, several of the earliest Bitcoin mining addresses, active since the first month of Bitcoin's existence in January 2009, have suddenly become active.

A total of 250 BTC, valued at approximately $15.95 million, was transferred from five addresses that were rewarded with 50 BTC each for mining blocks 2247, 2401, 2455, 2486, and 2690. These addresses had been dormant for nearly 16 years.
