Chainalysis CEO Michael Gronager believes stablecoins will play a key role in driving institutional adoption of cryptocurrency in Asia, despite regulatory concerns.

Speaking at Token2049 in Singapore, Gronager highlighted that stablecoins account for two-thirds of all blockchain transactions and are increasingly seen as the "killer app" in crypto.

While the U.S. remains the most influential region due to high trading volumes, Gronager emphasized that the outcome of the U.S. presidential election in November will have little impact on the global crypto landscape.
