According to Arkham, A cryptocurrency wallet linked to the U.S. government was recently breached, resulting in the loss of approximately $20 million in digital assets. This includes nearly $14 million in AUSDC stablecoins, $5.4 million in USDC, $1.1 million in USDT (Tether), and nearly $500,000 worth of Ethereum (ETH).

Blockchain analysis revealed that the stolen funds were moved through various non-custodial applications, suggesting an attempt to launder the money.

Renowned cryptocurrency investigator ZachXBT echoed these concerns. "Based on the subsequent transfers," he stated, "it appears far more likely that these funds were stolen rather than a legitimate government transaction. The U.S. government simply doesn't use platforms like Switchain or N.Exchange."

Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the exact circumstances and identify the perpetrators.
