According to Bitpush data, Bitcoin surged over 6,600 dollars in a single day, pushing its price above $87,000 and propelling the total cryptocurrency market capitalization past the $3 trillion mark for the first time since November 2021.

The digital asset's dominance in the crypto market has also seen a significant boost, with Bitcoin accounting for over 55.8% of the total market capitalization. Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency, followed closely with a 13.2% share.

Coinglass data shows that in the past 24 hours, a total of 196,257 people had their positions liquidated, with a total amount of $691 million.
