Standard Chartered Bank has issued a bold prediction, forecasting that Bitcoin's price will reach a staggering $500,000 by the end of second term for President Trump.

The bank's global head of digital asset research, Geoff Kendrick, outlined a price trajectory that sees Bitcoin hitting $200,000 in 2025, $300,000 in 2026, $400,000 in 2027, and finally reaching the $500,000 mark in 2028.

This ambitious target implies a market capitalization of $10.5 trillion for Bitcoin, roughly half of the current market value of gold.

The prediction is based on the assumption of $39 billion in net inflows following the launch of a U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF, coupled with a potentially more favorable regulatory environment for digital assets under a Trump administration.
