OKX Seychelles, operating under the name Aux Cayes FinTech Co. Ltd. and a subsidiary of the cryptocurrency exchange OKX, has reached a settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), agreeing to pay an $84 million penalty. The resolution, announced today, stems from a DOJ investigation into the company's operations in the United States.

n addition to the hefty fine, OKX Seychelles has also agreed to forfeit approximately $421 million in revenue that it garnered from U.S. customers during the period in question.  The exchange noted that the majority of this revenue was derived from a small number of institutional clients.
