According to reports, Brazilian authorities are seeking a software solution to track the location and movements of various cryptocurrency projects nationwide. The proposal aims to enhance the government's ability to combat cryptocurrency-related crimes. The Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Security has issued a contract notice seeking a solution to better discover and track multiple cryptocurrency projects and their movements over the next 36 months. The notice states that the goal is to 'sign a software contract based on blockchain technology for locating, tracking, and analyzing cryptocurrency transactions to meet the needs of the National Secretariat of Public Security and other participating agencies.' The public contract will start accepting proposals on July 4 next year and specifies that these solutions will be deployed in specific cities in Brazil, including 15 state capitals out of the 27 states in Brazil.
