According to Jinshi data, CNN reported that a key advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is calling for missile attacks on American naval vessels and the closure of the key oil shipping route, the Strait of Hormuz. Hossein Shariatmadari, editor-in-chief of Iran's 'World Newspaper', warned, 'After the US attacked the Fordo nuclear facility, it is now our turn to act.' As a prominent conservative voice, he had previously claimed to be the 'representative' of Supreme Leader Khamenei. He stated, 'As a first step, we must without hesitation and delay launch missile attacks on the US Navy fleet stationed in Bahrain, while closing the Strait of Hormuz to American, British, German, and French ships.' Currently, Supreme Leader Khamenei has not officially responded to the US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
