Samsung, the South Korean electronics giant, has launched a standalone turnkey security solution which will make cryptocurrency transactions on smartphones and tablets safer.

According to a press release issued on May 26, the new security solution is made up of a Secure Element (SE) chip S3FV9RR, which is certified with the Common Criteria (CC) EAL 6+ security standard, and “enhanced” software.
