According to reports, Wetour Travel Tech LLC, the US innovation department under Webus International, a mobile travel service listed on NASDAQ, has released a Web3 roadmap to reshape the global tourism industry. The roadmap focuses on stablecoin payments, tokenized loyalty programs, and instant supplier settlements. Specific plans include: by the end of 2025, Wetour will accept stablecoin settlements, with regulated cryptocurrencies like USDC available on WetourGlobal.com, its mobile app, and partner APIs; in early 2026, smart contract payments will be implemented to enable suppliers such as hotels and drivers to receive instant payments after guest check-ins; in mid-2026, a native token loyalty program beta version will be launched, with points directly stored in travelers' wallets for partial, real-time redemption; in the second half of 2026, a tokenized cross-chain bridge layer will be piloted, allowing members to transfer points between loyalty programs such as Hilton Honors, Marriott Bonvoy, and United MileagePlus, transforming idle points into purchasing power usable in any scenario.
