According to reports, the number of transactions in the Bitcoin memory pool (unconfirmed transaction queue) has significantly decreased compared to the end of 2024, leading observers to believe that an impending crisis may be on the horizon. Data shows that this Saturday, there were only over 5,000 transactions waiting to be included in the Bitcoin memory pool, with the total number of transactions rising to 15,000 by the time of publication. However, this is still far below the 150,000 transactions seen when BTC first surpassed $100,000 at the end of 2024. Joao Wedson, CEO and founder of the crypto data analysis platform Alphractal, stated that the idle Bitcoin memory pool indicates a lack of retail participation in the market. (CoinDesk)
