In a recent announcement, Yala revealed that its token YALA has been launched, along with the tokenomics details. The total token supply is set at 1 billion, with specific allocations as follows:
- Investors (15.98%): 1-year lock-up, followed by quarterly vesting over 18 months;
- Ecosystem & Community (20%): 45% unlocked at TGE, remaining 55% released linearly over 24 months;
- Foundation & Treasury (29.12%): 30% unlocked at TGE, 1-year lock-up, then linear vesting over 36 months;
- Marketing (10%): 20% unlocked at TGE, 1-year lock-up, followed by linear vesting over 24 months;
- Team (20%): 1-year lock-up, followed by monthly linear vesting over 24 months;
- Airdrop (3.4%): one-time distribution to early adopters, testnet and mainnet participants, and users who have made meaningful contributions to the Yala and Yeti Footprints projects, fully unlocked at TGE;
