According to The Block, the Trump administration has expressed support for implementing a minimum tax exemption policy on small crypto transactions, despite the provision not being included in the recent 'Omnibus Bill.' White House Press Secretary Levitt stated that the government will continue to push for relevant legislation to lower the tax threshold for using cryptocurrencies in daily payments. Additionally, the Trump team plans to promote the signing of the 'GENIUS Act' to enhance stablecoin regulatory framework and aims to establish the U.S. as the 'global capital of crypto.' Currently, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the U.S. requires all crypto transactions to be accurately reported. Once the exemption policy is implemented, it is expected to greatly simplify compliance processes and increase mainstream user adoption.
