Bitwise released a report on corporate Bitcoin holdings in the second quarter of 2025, revealing that publicly traded companies hold a total of 847,000 bitcoins, a 23.13% increase from the previous quarter, accounting for 4.03% of the total Bitcoin supply. The total value of these bitcoins reached $91 billion, a 60.93% increase from the previous quarter, with an average purchase price of $107,754 per coin. The number of publicly traded companies holding Bitcoin has reached 125, with 46 new companies purchasing Bitcoin this quarter. Strategy leads in holdings with 597,325 bitcoins, adding over 69,000 bitcoins in Q2 and gaining $14 billion in unrealized gains. In total, companies acquired 159,107 bitcoins this quarter, with newcomer Twenty One making its debut by purchasing over $450 million worth of Bitcoin after raising $685 million in funding.
