According to reports, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand has proposed amending ICO regulatory rules to allow non-institutional investors to take a knowledge test once and not have to repeat it, replacing the current requirement of testing every three months.

The new rules will require ICO portals to conduct suitability tests for all digital token investors, with a review every two years, to ensure investors' risk tolerance matches product risks. This move aims to reduce investor burden and align with existing securities regulatory standards.

The public can submit comments on the proposal until August 1st.
