According to reports from The Miner Mag, Bitcoin mining company Mawson has fired CEO Rahul Mewawalla for breaching fiduciary duties and alleged fraud, leading to a lawsuit filed in a Delaware court. In a letter to the board on July 17, Rahul Mewawalla stated his 'respectful but firm' opposition to the company's portrayal of the events, noting that the board had previously praised his leadership earlier this year. Prior to this, Mawson was sued by NYDIG's parent company Stone Ridge and its subsidiary Consensus Colocation, accusing them of unauthorized control over $30 million worth of ASIC miners owned by NYDIG.
