Park Gyu-ri stated in court that she did not participate in any illegal cryptocurrency schemes or token price manipulation. She claimed that during her time as 'Chief Communications Officer and Advisor' at Pica, she was only involved in planning and promoting art exhibitions as an employee and was not aware of cryptocurrency-related matters. However, Pica Coin CEO Seong Hae-joong stated that Park Gyu-ri's statement is false and that she received cash compensation from Song. Currently, Song is arrested for fraud and breach of trust, with prosecutors accusing him of soliciting investments in non-existent art pieces and manipulating Pica Coin prices for personal gain.
