According to sources cited by Jinshi, the Washington Post, and four government officials, the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is utilizing a new artificial intelligence tool aimed at significantly reducing federal regulations, with the goal of canceling half of the regulatory requirements before Trump's one-year anniversary. The tool, named 'DOGE AI Regulatory Decision Tool,' plans to analyze approximately 200,000 federal regulations to determine which ones can be eliminated. A presentation on July 1st indicated that the tool is expected to cut around 100,000 regulatory entries. The report also notes that the tool will save the US trillions of dollars by reducing compliance requirements, cutting federal budgets, and unlocking 'external investments.' According to the report, the tool has already successfully removed over 1,000 'regulatory provisions' from the Department of Housing and Urban Development in less than two weeks, and completed '100% deregulation work' at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
