According to Decrypt, South Korean blockchain company DaWinKS has partnered with the Kaia DLT Foundation to launch stablecoin ATMs that support cash exchange for USDT, which is issued on the Kaia chain. These ATMs are currently available in various tourist and retail locations. The ATMs are only accessible to users with foreign passports and support the exchange of 85 different fiat currencies or top-up to local transportation cards. This project operates within South Korea's regulatory sandbox framework and is not yet open to local residents.
