According to Cointelegraph, Maria Francesca Del Rosario, Deputy Minister of Budget and Management of the Philippines, announced on Wednesday that the government has officially launched a document notarization system based on the Polygon blockchain to address the threat of AI deepfakes and ensure the authenticity of government documents such as budget files. The system, developed by Bayanichain, uses stored document hash values to achieve permanent tamper-proof verification.
