In breaking news, according to official sources, Chainlink has announced the launch of Chainlink State Pricing - a new pricing method optimized for tokenized assets trading on decentralized exchanges (DEX) and long-tail crypto assets. This method aims to provide optimized price accuracy, market elasticity, and liquidity assessment for assets with limited trading volume on centralized exchanges (CEX) but significant on-chain liquidity.
Currently, Chainlink State Pricing is live on the mainnet, allowing users to access push-based oracle data through Chainlink Data Feeds or pull-based data services through Chainlink Data Streams. The initial assets supported by this pricing mechanism include wstETH, GHO, LBTC, cbBTC, ezETH, tBTC, and more, with plans to expand coverage to more assets, blockchains, and DEXs based on user demand.
