Gate Ventures announced a collaboration with Solana Superteam UK and the Cambridge Blockchain Association to launch the Web3 (Open-web) & AI Frontier Program, aiming to promote academic exploration in the integration of blockchain and artificial intelligence, and to support and nurture a new generation of forward-thinking innovators. The program will provide funding ranging from $100,000 to $1 million, industry mentorship, and deep integration with Solana ecosystem resources for university projects, including those at Cambridge University. With support from leading industry institutions, the program will accelerate the implementation and development of research-driven projects in blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance (DeFi), and AI applications built on the Solana network.
