According to reports from The Block, Geoffrey Kendrick, the head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered Bank, stated that Norway's NBIM increased its holdings of Bitcoin-related assets from the equivalent of 6200 BTC to 11400 BTC in the second quarter, representing an 83% increase. The fund primarily increased its exposure to Bitcoin by acquiring more MicroStrategy (MSTR) stock, while also slightly increasing its holdings in Metaplanet. Currently, MicroStrategy holds 628,900 BTC and Metaplanet holds 18,100 BTC. Kendrick maintains a year-end target price of $200,000 for Bitcoin and predicts it may reach $500,000 by 2028.
