According to a report by Jinshi, a provider of app intelligence, the latest analysis from Appfigures shows that since its launch in May 2023, ChatGPT's iOS and Android apps have generated $2 billion in revenue globally. This figure is approximately 30 times higher than the total revenue of ChatGPT's competitors on mobile platforms, including Claude, Copilot, and Grok. Data indicates that ChatGPT's mobile app has already generated $1.35 billion in revenue so far this year, marking a 673% year-on-year increase from $174 million in the same period in 2024 (January to July). The app's average monthly revenue is close to $193 million, significantly higher than last year's $25 million.
