Trump, during a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky at the White House, mentioned that he does not believe there needs to be a ceasefire agreement. He stated that while a ceasefire sounds good and could immediately stop the killing, strategically, some countries may not want a ceasefire as it would give the enemy time to regroup. Trump also mentioned that it is possible to fight and negotiate at the same time.
