A statement said the project is dedicated to facilitating dialogue on policy and technology issues that will impact the future of the US economy. Several entities focused on cryptocurrency are backing AIP, including Kraken, Coinbase, the National Cryptocurrency Association, Paradigm, Solana Policy Research Institute, and DCG. The organization has received seed funding from the Cedar Innovation Foundation and a $1 million grant from the Digital Currency Group.
