Blockchain infrastructure developer Spire Labs recently announced the launch of the Pylon Coordinator, a technology that can run multiple blockchain nodes simultaneously within the same chain, including underlying L2 networks and various application chains. The Pylon Coordinator can intelligently intercept transactions and identify cross-chain invocation requests. The current production environment supports synchronous reading, with future versions expanding to synchronous writing capabilities, bringing the user experience of cross-chain applications closer to that of single-chain applications. Spire Labs stated that the architecture based on application chains is particularly suitable for projects that seek both highly customized, scalable, and network sovereign solutions through independent chains, while also aiming to seamlessly integrate with mainstream general chains in terms of liquidity, user distribution, and infrastructure. This solution has received positive feedback and support from well-known blockchain projects such as Base, ZKsync, Celo, AltLayer, and Caldera.
