In a recent post on X platform, blockchain detective ZachXBT disclosed that since 2021, he has publicly released over 150 investigations, with actual cases exceeding 250, and over 95% were done pro bono. If each case is valued at $5,000-10,000, the theoretical income would range from $750,000 to $1.5 million. Some successful cases have helped recover over $300 million in funds. ZachXBT stated that in the future, he will no longer conduct investigations for free and hopes to receive fair compensation.
