In a recent announcement, Linea stated that Status Network will be the first to offer LINEA token yield farming, combining native ETH yields, stablecoin yields, and commissions from native app fees. Users can deposit LINEA and SNT tokens to increase their LINEA token yields. On August 20, 2024, Status is collaborating with Linea, supported by Consensys, to launch a Layer 2 rollup solution. They are jointly developing a Layer 2 network, called Status Network, to run parallel with Linea's zkEVM chain. Contributors from Status will interact with Linea's open-source code, actively participating in managing its codebase to maintain a parallel version.
