According to CoinDesk, payment giant Stripe announced at a New York event the launch of stablecoin issuance platform Open Issuance and AI business tools, aiming to integrate payment services with digital dollars and the increasing role of artificial intelligence in online transactions. Open Issuance, based on Stripe's acquisition of stablecoin infrastructure platform Bridge for $1.1 billion last year, allows businesses to issue their own stablecoins with just a few lines of code for minting and redemption. Phantom's CASH token will be the first stablecoin to be issued through this platform, with Hyperliquid's USDH and MetaMask's mUSD also joining the issuance program, while more projects are in the pipeline, according to Stripe.
