According to reports, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced that it will lift the ban on retail investors purchasing Exchange Traded Notes (ETN) linked to cryptocurrency trading platforms starting next week, provided that the products are listed on UK local investment exchanges approved by the FCA. Unlike ETFs, ETNs are debt securities linked to crypto assets and are not backed by physical assets.
