In breaking news, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink stated in an interview with CBS that he has had to reexamine Bitcoin, acknowledging that cryptocurrency serves a similar purpose to gold as an alternative asset.

Fink pointed out that Bitcoin is not a bad asset, but should not make up a large proportion of investment portfolios. Fink revealed in a letter to investors this year that half of the demand for BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF comes from retail investors, with 75% of investors having never purchased iShares products before.
