According to reports, the Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, Carlson Tong, stated that Hong Kong currently does not have regulations governing listed companies investing in cryptocurrencies. They will monitor the market situation and study providing relevant guidance. Tong added that there are currently no laws in Hong Kong regulating listed companies participating in virtual asset treasury arrangements.
