According to DL News, Grayscale's Head of Research Zach Pandl predicts that the US Solana spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) may replicate the success of Bitcoin and Ethereum products by absorbing at least 5% of the total supply of Solana tokens in the next one to two years. This would mean over $5 billion worth of Solana tokens could be absorbed by companies like Grayscale and Bitwise. This week, two Solana ETFs officially began trading. Bitwise's BSOL was launched on Tuesday, while Grayscale's GSOL debuted on Wednesday. Unlike Bitcoin ETFs, Solana ETFs support staking functions with an annualized yield of around 5.7%.
