Former BlackRock Executive Joseph Chalom Calls Ethereum Wall Street's Infrastructure

In an interview, Joseph Chalom, former BlackRock digital asset strategist and current CEO of Sharplink, stated that Ethereum is not just another blockchain, but the cornerstone on which Wall Street will build its financial infrastructure. Chalom emphasized that Ethereum possesses the trust, security, and liquidity that financial institutions value, leading him to stake his career on it. He highlighted the abundance of stablecoins, asset tokenization, and smart contract activities on Ethereum as the trusted chain for financial digitization. While Sharplink is among several digital asset financial companies accumulating Ether, Chalom believes that without strong trading volume, clean balance sheets, and internal teams managing collateral and investments, many companies will struggle to scale effectively. Chalom sees Sharplink's focus on Ethereum as a continuation of his mission to bridge traditional finance with the cryptocurrency ecosystem, citing Ethereum's ability to rebuild systems faster, cheaper, and more securely. He views Ethereum as the foundation of the next wave of financial digitization, predicting a future where everything will be referred to as 'finance,' with Ethereum serving as the underlying infrastructure.
