According to sources, Goldman Sachs strategists predict that the future returns of the US stock market will slightly lag behind the global market over the next ten years. Analyst Peter Oppenheimer and his team recommend investors to increase diversified investments outside the US, as the high valuation of US stocks limits returns. Goldman Sachs strategists forecast that the S&P 500 Index will achieve a 6.5% annual return rate in the next 10 years, the weakest among all regions. Emerging markets are expected to perform the strongest, with an annual return rate of up to 10.9%. After a decade of outstanding performance driven by the surge in tech stocks and artificial intelligence, the S&P 500 Index has risen by 16% this year, while MSCI's global index (excluding the US) has risen by 27%. Strategists predict that in the coming years, the returns in emerging markets will be driven by strong profit growth in China and India. Japan is expected to achieve an annual return rate of 8.2%, while Europe is expected to bring investors a 7.1% annual return rate.
