According to reports, Animoca Brands has disclosed that the company has completed a charity fundraising campaign for the Hong Kong Tai Po fire relief, raising a total of 2,602,516.64 HKD donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross Tai Po Fire Emergency Relief Fund.
Approximately 33% (869,067.7 HKD) of the donations came from members of the global cryptocurrency community, while the remaining 1,733,448.94 HKD was contributed by Animoca Brands, its employees, co-founder and executive chairman Yat Siu, various subsidiaries and projects (including Open Campus, Anichess, The Sandbox, Tower Ecosystem, etc.), and partners such as Moca Foundation.
