According to reports, Vienna police confirmed that a 21-year-old Ukrainian man, Danylo K., son of Kharkiv Deputy Mayor Sergey K., was violently murdered, with the motive suspected to be related to his cryptocurrency assets. Two Ukrainian suspects (aged 19 and 45) allegedly used violence to coerce the victim into revealing his cryptocurrency wallet password, then beat him to death and burned his body. Following the incident, the suspects have fled to Ukraine.
Currently, the case has been transferred to Ukrainian judicial authorities at the request of Austrian authorities. (oe24)
