According to CoinDesk, Lindsay Fraser of Uniswap Labs has been appointed to lead policy affairs at The Blockchain Association as the crypto industry pushes the US Congress to take action on a bill establishing a regulatory framework for digital asset markets. Fraser, who previously handled policy affairs for Uniswap amid struggles over how the US government would address DeFi issues, will now take on broader responsibilities for the association's 146 member companies. She stated that her DeFi experience will help advance relevant discussions. Fraser noted that the association is one of the leading organizations among Washington's many industry advocacy groups, closely monitoring the market structure bill currently under Senate negotiations, the implementation of the stablecoin bill established earlier this year, and the future direction of US cryptocurrency tax policies.
