Phreeli implements the Double-Blind Armadillo zero-knowledge proof encryption system, which can verify bills without storing payment information. Users can pay with credit cards, Zcash, or Monero. Phreeli founder Nicholas Merrill stated that the company aims to address the issue of mainstream operators collecting excessive data. Established in 2019, Phreeli has raised $5 million in the past year and utilizes T-Mobile infrastructure.
