According to on-chain analyst Murphy, there are a total of 153 companies holding BTC with non-zero balances, including 29 major publicly listed companies holding a total of 1.082 million BTC, while the rest of the publicly listed companies hold 54,331 BTC. In addition to BTC held by corporate entities, spot ETFs currently hold a total of 1.311 million BTC, with the top three holders being BlackRock with 777,000 BTC, Fidelity with 202,000 BTC, and Grayscale with 167,000 BTC. Governments worldwide collectively hold 615,000 BTC, with the US government holding 325,000 BTC, ranking first.
Furthermore, there are a total of 3.409 million BTC held on-chain for 10 years without movement, with many likely belonging to lost private keys or owners whose whereabouts are unknown, including over 1 million BTC attributed to Satoshi Nakamoto. Based on this data, all long-term holders collectively own 14.35 million BTC, accounting for approximately 68.3% of the total BTC supply.
