The cooperation includes Cumberland supporting Bhutan's Bitcoin reserve management, establishing a business presence in GMC, hiring local talent, and sending experts to train local workforce. The MoU aims to explore developing the national crypto ecosystem covering modern financial frameworks, sustainable mining and AI computing, revenue generation, and stablecoin infrastructure. Green Digital, a digital infrastructure company, leads this initiative to ensure alignment of digital asset development with Bhutan's broader sustainable development and economic diversification goals.
