In a press conference at the White House, US President Trump was asked about the case of Samourai Wallet developer Keonne Rodriguez. He stated that he will review the case and look into it. Samourai Wallet co-founders Keonne Rodriguez and William Lonergan Hill were sentenced to five years and four years in prison on November 19 for their involvement in a cryptocurrency mixing scheme. Rodriguez and Hill initially pleaded not guilty to all charges but in July, they agreed to plead guilty to one count of operating an unlicensed money transmitting business. Previously, Trump had pardoned Binance founder Changpeng "CZ" Zhao and Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht.
