Dapper Labs CEO Roham announced on X platform that Flow encountered a serious security incident over the weekend, with attackers exploiting a vulnerability to steal millions of dollars. Validators shut down the network within 30 minutes, and the Flow core development team and community developers identified and fixed the issue. Within the next 48 hours, consensus was reached on the fix by the Flow Foundation, bridge operators, exchanges, and ecosystem developers. As of this morning, the network in the Cadence environment has been fully restored, with 99.9% of accounts recovered. Roham emphasized that consumer accounts were protected, losses were isolated due to architecture, and the decentralized process remained stable under pressure, ensuring Dapper users' security throughout.
