Public information shows that Manus AI focuses on a general AI Agent that can perform various real tasks such as market research, code writing, data analysis, and resume screening, positioning itself beyond traditional chatbots or workflow tools. The company provides services to enterprise customers on a subscription basis and claims to have achieved over $100 million in annual recurring revenue within months of product launch. The transaction has also sparked some controversy. The early team background of Manus AI is related to China, but the company is headquartered in Singapore, with about a hundred Chinese employees having since completed the migration.
