Despite optimistic forecasts from industry leaders, Michael Saylor, Tom Lee, and Arthur Hayes' predictions for Bitcoin's price by the end of this year have not come to fruition.

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes had previously stated in the first half of the year that Bitcoin would reach $200,000 or higher by the end of 2025. However, in a blog post in November, he admitted his past predictions were quite poor.

Tom Lee, Chairman of the first Ethereum treasury company BitMine, was very optimistic at the beginning of the year, predicting on CNBC in January that Bitcoin's price would soar to $250,000 by the end of the year. By the end of November, Lee had revised his prediction to over $100,000.

Co-founder of Strategy, Michael Saylor, also made overly optimistic predictions, stating at the beginning of the year that Bitcoin would continue to rise steadily with institutional inflows. However, on October 29th, Saylor stated, 'Our current expectation is that the price should be around $150,000 by the end of the year.'
