According to market reports, Bitcoin Core has issued a warning that versions 30 and 30.1 have a serious vulnerability when migrating old (BDB format) wallets, which could in rare cases result in the accidental deletion of all wallet files in a node, leading to permanent loss of funds if not backed up.

This only affects the legacy wallet migration process, regular usage and existing wallets are not impacted. An official fix for this vulnerability will be included in version 30.2, so wallet migration operations should be avoided until then.
