Ethereum is also similar to the Linux operating system, which is free and open-source, relied upon by billions globally, including governments. Just as Linux has various distributions catering to different needs, Ethereum aims to serve individuals and organizations seeking higher autonomy in finance (including identity, social, governance), enabling direct access to the full power of the network without intermediaries. The example of Linux shows that providing value to a large audience can be compatible with being loved and trusted by global enterprises simultaneously.
