According to reports, footage of Chen Zhi, the leader of the Prince Group, being repatriated to China has been revealed. On January 7, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security dispatched a working group to successfully repatriate Chen Zhi, the head of a major transnational gambling fraud criminal group, from Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Investigations have shown that Chen Zhi's criminal group is suspected of operating casinos, fraud, illegal business operations, and concealing criminal proceeds, among other crimes. Currently, Chen Zhi has been taken into custody in accordance with the law, and related cases are under further investigation. A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Public Security stated that the public security authorities will soon publicly issue warrants for the first batch of core members of Chen Zhi's criminal group, and will resolutely arrest fugitives.

Chen Zhi, the founder of the Prince Group, a Cambodian telecommunications fraud criminal group, was born on December 16, 1987, in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China. He dropped out of school after completing junior high school and previously worked in the internet industry in China. In 2011, he went to Cambodia to invest in real estate, obtained Cambodian citizenship through investment immigration in 2014 (later renouncing Chinese citizenship), and founded Prince Holding Group in 2015, suspected of operating a large-scale transnational fraud syndicate. In mid-October 2025, the United States and the United Kingdom announced charges against Chen Zhi and seized approximately $15 billion worth of Bitcoin held by him.
