Algorand Foundation announced on Wednesday that it will be relocating its headquarters from Singapore back to the US and forming a new board of directors. This move follows the footsteps of Jito Foundation, which returned to the US from the Cayman Islands last week. Both organizations cited the US-friendly crypto policy as a key factor in their decision to return. Algorand Foundation CEO Staci Warden stated that the aim is to ensure US leadership in the next generation of financial infrastructure, focusing on real-time global payments, financial product accessibility, and economic resilience. This decision comes as the US Senate Banking Committee is set to vote on landmark crypto legislation. Jito Labs CEO previously noted that there has been a 180-degree shift in US crypto policy since President Trump took office, creating a favorable environment for crypto companies to return.
